Hill Top Arms owner Carl Hill joined News Talk 103.7 FM this morning to talk about firearm training at Hill Top Arms and some of the classes coming up over the next several weeks.
The conversation covered the difference between training and practice and Hill Top’s approach to practical defensive firearms training. Learning a skill in a class is only the beginning—we also want our students to have opportunities to continue practicing and developing those skills. That’s one of the reasons we offer our ongoing Skills & Drills sessions.
Carl also talked about introducing young people to firearms safely and responsibly, including Hill Top’s experience working with local Boy Scouts. This November, we’ll be offering a Kids’ Rifle Class designed to give young shooters an opportunity to learn in a safe, structured environment.
