Advanced & Specialty Training

Continue your firearms education with specialized classes, workshops, and personalized instruction designed to expand your skills and confidence. From advanced live-fire training and rifle courses to emergency medical education and private coaching, Hill Top Arms offers opportunities to continue learning long after the fundamentals while embracing our philosophy of ALWAYS IMPROVING.

Defensive Skills

Develop the skills needed to respond confidently when conditions are less than ideal. Defensive Skills courses focus on real-world situations that require more than accurate marksmanship alone. Whether you’re learning to safely operate in low-light environments or gaining lifesaving medical skills, these classes provide practical knowledge that can help you respond effectively when it matters most.

Low Light Training

Most defensive encounters occur in reduced-light conditions, making low-light training an essential part of developing defensive firearm skills. This four-hour live-fire course is designed for intermediate to advanced shooters and focuses on the effective use of both handheld and weapon-mounted flashlights to safely identify and engage targets in low-light environments. Students should bring the flashlight they normally carry or have mounted on their firearm. A handheld tactical flashlight is included with the class.

Build the confidence to safely and effectively operate when visibility is limited.

Stop the Bleed®

Knowing how to stop severe bleeding can save a life. This hands-on course teaches the critical skills needed to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action until emergency medical personnel arrive. Participants will learn proper techniques for applying direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet use through practical instruction and guided practice. These simple, proven skills can make a life-saving difference in emergencies at home, at work, on the range, or in everyday life.

Be prepared to protect not only yourself, but those around you when every second counts.

Everyone learns differently, and not every schedule fits our scheduled group classes. Personalized Training provides flexible instruction tailored to your individual goals, experience level, and availability. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one coaching or training for your family, friends, or organization, our instructors will work with you to create a safe, productive learning experience.

One-on-One Training

Receive personalized live-fire instruction focused entirely on your goals. One-on-one range sessions are ideal for individuals who are unable to attend scheduled group classes or who prefer individualized instruction. Whether you’re new to firearms and want to learn safe gun handling and the fundamentals of handgun shooting, or you’re an experienced shooter looking to refine your skills, every session is customized to your experience level, helping you build confidence, strengthen safe firearm handling, improve technique, and become a more capable shooter.

Already taken one of our live-fire classes?  Students who complete one of our live-fire courses are always welcome to return for additional instructor coaching on the range at no additional cost. Our goal is to help every student continue improving long after class is over.

Private Group Training

Bring the training to your group. Private group sessions can be customized for families, friends, businesses, churches, civic organizations, or other groups looking for a personalized training experience. We’ll work with you to develop a training experience that fits your group’s goals, experience level, and schedule.
